Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Located in Sarasota, FL

Salary: $20/Hour

Pay: $20.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

A growing distribution and warehouse operation in Sarasota is seeking a reliable Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join their team. This position is responsible for receiving inventory, processing shipments, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase orders, transfers, and incoming inventory shipments
• Process outgoing shipments using UPS and other delivery methods
• Document and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, transfers, and purchase orders
• Stock incoming products in designated warehouse locations
• Pull, pack, and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization
• Provide excellent customer service and product support as needed
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Support process improvements and adapt to new technology and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience
• Forklift experience
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Landscape, nursery, irrigation, or related product knowledge is a plus
• High school diploma or GED preferred
