Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a manufacturing shop environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating press brake machinery, reading blueprints, and producing accurate, high-quality metal components. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have at least 1 year of recent related experience to be considered.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, travelers, and work instructions.
• Select and install the proper tooling, dies, and punches for each job.
• Adjust machine settings, including tonnage, bend angle, back gauge, and stroke.
• Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality specifications.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy.
• Perform tooling changes and machine setups.
• Follow production schedules and meet required deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing shop environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operating issues.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent related Press Brake experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a MUST.
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating press brake equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
• Experience working with different types and thicknesses of sheet metal.
• Ability to perform tooling changes and machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment.
• Manufacturing or aerospace experience is a plus.
