Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Project Manager for a well-established construction company in Abilene, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction project management, with specialized experience in metal stud framing, drywall, ceiling systems, and Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS).

This position requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills who can successfully oversee multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from initial planning and estimating through successful completion.

• Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, schedules, and material requirements.

• Oversee projects within an approximately 200-mile radius of Abilene, TX.

• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal construction teams.

• Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

• Review blueprints, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.

• Identify potential project challenges and implement effective solutions.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, financial reports, and progress updates.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and company standards.

• Manage smaller general contracting projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in commercial construction project management and estimating.

• Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall installation, commercial ceiling systems, and EIFS.

• Ability to interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.

• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, materials, and subcontractors.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results.

• Willingness to travel to project sites within the designated service area.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $90,000–$120,000 DOE
