Our Scarborough client, a leading design and manufacturing company, is looking for a General Labour to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Drill, cut, grind, and sand materials including wood formers, plastic, and metal
• Assemble parts and components according to specifications
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Measure materials accurately using hand tools and measuring devices
• Move materials throughout the facility using a pump truck
• Sort, stack, and organize inventory, including copper tubing, silicone, and other materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the production floor
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or general labour environment preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with wood, plastic, or metal fabrication
• Positive attitude, team player and reliable

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
