Retail Associate – Used Auto Parts Yard
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Must be flexible to work 7 days per week between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at a used auto parts yard in Fayetteville, NC. This position is ideal for someone with cashier experience who enjoys working with customers and has an interest in automobiles and auto parts.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, and other payments
Handle customer purchases, returns, and basic transactions
Assist customers with locating used auto parts and products
Answer phones and respond to customer questions
Maintain accurate pricing and transaction records
Keep the retail and customer-service areas clean and organized
Communicate with yard and inventory staff to locate parts
Follow company policies and safety procedures
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Previous cashier or retail experience required
Basic knowledge of automobile parts is preferred
Automotive, parts counter, salvage yard, or mechanical experience is a plus
Strong customer-service and communication skills

Basic computer skills
Ability to accurately handle money and transactions
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work in an outdoor/yard environment as needed
Must be comfortable working around used vehicles and automotive parts
Must be flexible and available to work any day of the week, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
