Dock Hands
Located in York, PA
Salary: $18.25/hr
Hours: Monday through Friday. 8am-5pm. Occasional OT. Doors open at 7:45am.
Job Description:
Seeking dependable Dock Hands to support daily warehouse and receiving operations. This is a hands-on position focused on unloading and receiving materials, restacking products, and properly wrapping and preparing pallets for storage or shipment. This position does not require operating a forklift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and unloading incoming products.
- Restack and organize products and materials on pallets.
- Wrap and secure pallets for storage or shipment.
- Inspect products for damage or discrepancies during receiving.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and instructions.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, dock, receiving, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, stack, and move products.
- Forklift experience is not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and stacking.
- Ability to lift and move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/dock environment.
