Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Packing Line Associates for a metals manufacturing company in Acworth, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment and take pride in producing quality work. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable with heavy lifting while preparing metal coils for shipment.
Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-1:00 PM | $17.00/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Band and package metal coils for shipment according to customer specifications
- Move and position metal coils throughout the facility
- Prepare finished products for shipping and staging
- Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet shipping deadlines
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before shipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Communicate any production, inventory, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packing, or production experience
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Reliable and dependable attitude
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy materials and equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
