Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all quality control activities within the Distribution Centre
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are maintained across inbound and outbound operations
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming shipments, outgoing orders, equipment, parts, and finished goods
  • Conduct detailed audits of outbound loads to ensure products are properly staged, secured, strapped, and prepared for shipment
  • Verify quantities, product specifications, and customer requirements before shipment
  • Investigate product damage, inventory discrepancies, and shipment issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions
  • Review warranty claims while maintaining supporting documentation and evidence
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, transportation providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor quality control KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics
  • Analyze trends and present recommendations to improve inventory accuracy, shipment quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of SOPs and quality procedures
  • Conduct cycle count audits and assist with inventory investigations
  • Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations experience
  • Experience leading quality initiatives, inspections, audits, and process improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of Warehouse Operations, Shipping and Receiving, and Distribution processes
  • Experience using AS400 software
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agriculture industry (asset)
  • Experience within agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment (asset)
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience developing SOPs, quality programs, audits, and process controls.

Compensation and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 11:00am to 7:30pm
  • Salary: $62,000 - $74,000 per annum
