Express Employment Professionals is looking for dependable General Laborers for a fast-paced production company in Canton, GA. This is an evaluation-hire opportunity for candidates who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and thrive in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, assisting machine operators, and working in an uncontrolled warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM | $16.00/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cardboard materials into production machines
- Assist machine operators with production tasks as needed
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Perform heavy lifting throughout the workday
- Help maintain a steady workflow to meet production goals
- Stack, sort, and organize materials in designated areas
- Keep workstations and production areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Report equipment or production issues to the appropriate supervisor
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in an uncontrolled environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to follow production and safety procedures
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
