General Labor – Fabrication Assistant

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual for a General Labor/Fabrication Assistant position with one of our great clients in Acworth, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career and interested in learning new skills in a manufacturing environment.

 

Duties:

• Assist with fabrication and general production tasks.
• Use drills, saws, and various hand tools.
• Read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Assist with cutting, drilling, and assembling materials.
• Follow instructions and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other general labor duties as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!

• Must be dependable and motivated to work.
• Must be willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be interested in a long-term career opportunity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and stoop throughout the workday.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment
• Loud at times
• Not climate controlled
• Must be comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
