Express Employment Professionals is looking for a reliable Press Brake Machine Operator/Programmer for one of our great Holly Springs clients. This is an evaluation-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company offering a consistent 4-day workweek. The ideal candidate will have experience programming and operating CNC press brake equipment, be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality parts according to customer specifications.
Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:00 PM | Pay Based on Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Select appropriate tooling and determine proper bend sequences
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and production efficiency
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges
- Maintain production records and complete required documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Communicate production or equipment issues to supervisors as needed
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience programming and operating CNC press brake machinery
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience working in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with CNC press brake programming and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Reliable transportation
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
