Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with a minimum of 2 years of drafting experience. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to create accurate technical drawings, layouts, and design documents based on engineering, architectural, or customer specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop accurate drawings, plans, layouts, and schematics based on project requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, architects, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review designs and drawings for completeness and compliance with company standards.
• Revise drawings and incorporate requested changes in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing documentation.
• Interpret and apply technical specifications, blueprints, and design requirements.
• Assist with project coordination and provide drafting support throughout project lifecycles.
• Identify and resolve drafting issues while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed accurately.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 2 years of professional drafting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles, technical drawings, and blueprint interpretation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of industry standards and drafting best practices.
• Experience working in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or architectural environments.
