Production Laborer - $20+/hour

We are currently seeking candidates for a Line Hauler role with a food production client located in Monroe.

 

This is an evaluation - hire role with a client that offers stability, growth opportunities, and full benefits package.

 

 

Job Summary:

This position involves staging product for packaging along each line: boxes, packaging, storage of finished product. It anticipates the lines needs to continue the packaging process according to the production schedules. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Scheduling Responsibilities including understanding what each line is scheduled to run, staging, remove supplies to storage, place finished product in cooler
• Operation of and certification for forklift and pallet jack operation
• Inventory knowledge of packaging supplies
• Strict adherence to GMPs; Keep area clean 
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management
  • Accurate recordkeeping

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous food manufacturing preferred but not required
• Strong listening skills and ask questions to understand instructions for work-related activities 
• Takes initiative to complete tasks
• Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors 
• Verbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs)
• Flexibility in job roles, assisting team mates along with covering breaks when needed to meet business needs
• Meet physical demands of role, Honest and high level of Integrity, high degree of personal hygiene per GMPs, dependable attendance to meet business demands

 

Schedule: 3rd shift, 10 hour days - enjoy a 3 day weekend!

Monday - Thursday, OT as required
8:00 pm-6:00 am

 

Pay: $21 - $24/hour BOE plus a shift premium for 3rd shift
