Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an Industrial Mechanic on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Mississauga. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

What is offered:

• 26.00/hr + Depending on experience and certifications
• Day shift, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment to keep operations running smoothly
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues and complete repairs as needed
• Help set up production lines, install new equipment, and support process improvements
• Complete general maintenance tasks, including welding and building equipment repairs
• Monitor equipment performance, complete maintenance records, and help reduce downtime
• Work closely with production teams while following all safety policies and procedures

 

Qualifications

• Related post-secondary education is an asset
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with production and packaging equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, controls, and PLCs
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Welding experience is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
