General Help / Machine Operator Assistant – 2nd Shift

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for direct hire after 60 days for associates who demonstrate strong attendance, performance, and a commitment to safety.
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $22.10/hour
Regular Shift:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Current Production Schedule:
- Overtime is currently being worked
- Saturday work is required based on production needs
- Associates should expect 12-hour workdays during overtime periods
Training Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to complete the required training schedule:
- 3 weeks on 1st Shift for initial onboarding and training
- Followed by approximately 5 additional weeks of training on 2nd Shift
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate schedules as business demands require

Job Summary
As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting production operations and helping ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and at quality standards. This position offers a great opportunity to build a rewarding manufacturing career in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing and powered equipment
- Monitor machine performance and product quality
- Assist with troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance activities
- Accurately document production and quality information
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- English comprehension required for safety training, work instructions, and production documentation
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed
- Must successfully complete a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen
