Local Box Truck Driver – Pallet Recovery
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends; start time between 6–8 AMStarting Pay: $24/hr
We are hiring a Driver for a local Pallet Company
As a driver you will be collecting pallets from local customer locations using a 26-foot box truck equipped with a lift gate and pallet jack. Routes typically include 2–6 stops per day, depending on mileage. Manual loading is required as needed.
Responsibilities:
Safely complete scheduled pickups while following DOT and company safety requirements.
Load and unload pallets using a lift gate, pallet jack, and manual handling.
Maintain accurate pallet counts and required driving records.
Communicate professionally with customers and the team.
Manage routes efficiently and provide reliable, on-time service.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT medical card without restrictions.
Ability to regularly lift 65 lbs.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with route optimization and customer relationship management.
Preferred Experience:
Multi-stop driving and local route management.
DOT compliance, Hours of Service (HOS), and electronic logging.
Routing software.
Customer relationship building and new customer development.
Frontline operations leadership.
