In this role, you'll set up and run advanced processing equipment, operate cranes and forklifts, and make sure every order meets spec, all on a Monday–Friday day shift that keeps your evenings and weekends free.

7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday $21/hr-$26/hr DOE

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and run advanced processing machinery to cut and process metal to work order specifications.
2. Operate and maintain cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
3. Inspect product before and during processing, record measurements, and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
5. Complete production logs, communicate with sales on order changes, and train or direct others when needed.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
3. Must be certified in (or able to become certified in) the material handler position.
4. Ability to use handheld measuring tools, do basic math, and lift up to 40 lbs.
5. Preferred: warehouse experience in the metals industry, forklift experience, and computer skills.
