Seeking an Customer Service Representative for a local Animal Hospital:

 

Summary

The CSR/Receptionist is the front line of the hospital, responsible for excellent client service, lobby and telephone flow, appointment coordination, payment processing, and accurate client and patient records.

Job Duties:

• Greet clients promptly and professionally and identify urgent or emergency situations requiring immediate clinical attention.
• Answer telephones, schedule appointments, respond appropriately to routine questions, and document messages accurately.
• Collect and reconcile payments and maintain accurate end-of-shift financial records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, technicians, doctors, and management

Requirements:

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Strong accuracy with money, records, schedules, and client information.Ability to recognize emergencies and escalate appropriately.
• Comfort with veterinary practice-management software and common office equipment
• Basic understanding of hospital protocols, vaccines, laboratory testing, and animal care
• Ability to lift and move pet food bags up to approximately 40 pounds.
