Cell Operator / Machine Operator

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Cell Operator / Machine Operator for a long-standing manufacturing company in the Englewood area. This is a hands-on production position operating precision cutting equipment in a quality-focused, regulated manufacturing environment.

 

Pay: $21.00/hr to start
Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Englewood, CO – Inverness area
Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Job Highlights

• Operate and make minor adjustments to powered production cutting equipment
• Cut and trim materials according to work orders, specifications and diagrams
• Verify correct materials before beginning production
• Monitor product quality and identify specification deviations
• Assist with lamination, packaging and other production-cell responsibilities
• Complete production records and ERP transactions accurately
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain a clean work area
• Cross-train throughout the production department

The primary focus of the position is safely producing defect-free material to specification while maintaining a steady flow of product into packaging. 

What We Look For

• Minimum 2 years of machine operator experience
• Previous guillotine cutter, paper cutting or similar precision machine experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow written specifications and production procedures
• Comfortable documenting work accurately in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
