Calling early birds! If you're already up before the sun and love a busy kitchen, this one's for you. A Springfield hotel needs a Breakfast Cook to run its breakfast service from 5 AM to noon. You'll cook eggs and omelets to order, keep the buffet full and fresh, and send hot plates out to guests with a server's help. Then your afternoon is yours.

What You'll Love

• $16/hour
• 5 AM–noon shift, Monday–Friday, with some weekends
• Out by noon, so the rest of your day is for family, errands, a second gig, or a nap
• A hands-on kitchen where your cooking skills take center stage
• A server on the floor to deliver food to guests
• A breakfast-focused menu with a mix of buffet and cook-to-order items

What You'll Do

• Cook food for the breakfast buffet and prepare cook-to-order items
• Follow a recipe book for orders, with eggs and omelets as the specialty
• Cook on skillets (not a flat top) and flip omelets
• Keep the buffet stocked quickly as guests come through
• Handle food prep and cleaning as needed
• Help with dishwashing and unloading delivery trucks

What You'll Bring

• ServSafe food handler certificate (required)
• Experience in a restaurant kitchen (not fast food)
• Strong egg-cooking skills, or a quick learner who picks them up fast
• Comfort reading and following recipes
• Cook-to-order experience is a bonus
• Customer service skills 
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable standing for long stretches and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, on time, and an early riser
