Location Manager – Healthcare Operations

Reports To: Director of Licensure
Supervises: Location Office Personnel
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Location: On-Site / In-Office

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and experienced Location Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our healthcare office. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring efficient office operations, adequate staffing, regulatory compliance, and ongoing accreditation readiness.

The Location Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the local office and Corporate Compliance Headquarters, while providing leadership and support to office personnel. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the healthcare office.

 

 

Develop and maintain knowledge of company products and services, applicable governmental and regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.

 

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.

 

Communicate complaints, incidents, and operational concerns through the appropriate channels in a timely manner.

 

Serve as the primary point of contact for office operational issues, employee concerns, and corporate communications.

 

Maintain adequate office staffing and participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and employee transitions.

 

Assist with personnel functions including employee development, coaching, discipline, performance evaluations, and terminations.

 

Partner with department leadership and other task managers to support employee performance and development.

  • Coordinate building maintenance, facility needs, and other office-related services.

  • Maintain required compliance documentation, accreditation binders, licenses, permits, postings, and other regulatory records.

  • Manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) inventory and conduct quarterly inventory cycle counts.

  • Submit and coordinate IT support requests, hardware setup, equipment exchanges, and other technology needs.

  • Conduct compliance training and support ongoing employee education initiatives.

  • Participate in virtual mock surveys and help maintain continuous accreditation and regulatory survey readiness.

  • Participate in unannounced accreditation, payer, and regulatory survey visits.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organization in a professional manner.

  • Perform additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in a healthcare-related field required.

  • 3–5 years of healthcare supervisory, management, or operational experience required.

  • Experience in DME, HME, respiratory, home health, or healthcare compliance is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software applications.

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain regular attendance.

  • Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

  • Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Must demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.

  • Must be comfortable working with regulatory, compliance, accreditation, and operational requirements.

  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates strong accountability.
