Pay: $15–$18/hr DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Shreveport, LA 71105

A commercial and industrial construction company in Shreveport is hiring a Commercial Construction Laborer to assist field crews on projects throughout the area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is dependable, comfortable working in a construction environment, and willing to assist wherever needed to keep the job moving.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople and field crews on commercial and industrial projects

• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials

• Set up and clean up jobsites

• Use basic hand and power tools

• Assist with measurements, material preparation, and installation work

• Move tools and equipment throughout the jobsite

• Perform demolition, cleanup, and general construction duties as assigned

• Work from ladders or elevated areas when necessary

• Maintain clean and safe work areas

• Follow instructions from field leads and experienced tradespeople

• Follow company and jobsite safety requirements

Requirements

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure preferred

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift

• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in varying jobsite conditions

• Comfortable working from ladders or at heights when required

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Willingness to learn and take direction

This is a full-time opportunity with consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to gain additional commercial construction experience.
