A growing Springfield team is hiring an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to work directly with individual and business clients, turn their paperwork into accurate returns, and keep the season moving. What You'll Do

• Prepare and review individual and/or business tax returns
• Gather and organize client tax documents
• Work directly with clients to get the information you need and answer their questions
• Spot deductions, credits, and other tax considerations
• Make sure returns are complete, accurate, and on time
• Research tax questions and keep up with current tax laws and regulations
• Protect the confidentiality of client financial information
• Help with other tax and accounting projects as needed

What You'll Bring

• Previous tax preparation experience
• A solid understanding of individual and/or business returns
• A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
• The ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines during the busy season
• Comfort talking with clients directly
• Familiarity with professional tax software is helpful
• Accounting, finance, or tax education is a bonus
• A CPA or EA designation is welcome but not required
