Material Handler 

Newnan, GA  |  1st & 2nd Shift  |  Overtime Required 

 

Position Overview 

The Material Handler supports shipping, receiving, and production operations by moving materials and finished products safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for helping receive and organize incoming materials and delivering products and materials to the production line to keep operations running smoothly. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform shipping and receiving duties in accordance with operational procedures. 

• Receive, move, stage, and organize materials and products as assigned. 

• Deliver products, components, and materials to the production line in a timely manner. 

• Help ensure production areas have the materials needed to maintain workflow. 

• Assist with preparing products or materials for shipment and movement within the facility. 

• Maintain accurate handling and placement of materials to help prevent shortages, damage, or production delays. 

• Keep work and material-storage areas organized and follow established safety procedures. 

• Assist with other material-handling, warehouse, and production-support duties as needed. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Previous material handling, shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. 

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

• Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance for the assigned shift. 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. 

• Ability to work effectively as part of a production and warehouse team. 

• Comfortable working required overtime as business needs dictate. 

Schedule & Compensation 

Location: Newnan, Georgia 

1st Shift: 5:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday 

2nd Shift: 5:00 PM-5:00 AM, Monday-Friday 

Overtime: Required 

1st Shift Pay: $17.50 per hour 

2nd Shift Pay: $18.50 per hour 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 

Steel-toe footwear is required. All other required PPE will be provided. 

Ideal Candidate 

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person should be organized, able to keep materials moving to the production line, and willing to support shipping, receiving, and other warehouse needs while working required overtime.
