Production Pallet Builder

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our production team building custom pallets, crates, and shipping containers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This hands-on role involves working with wood materials, power tools, production documents, and assembly processes to create high-quality shipping products.

Essential Duties

• Determine job requirements based on work orders and production specifications.
• Review route sheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Locate, pull, and prepare materials required for production.
• Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
• Assemble pallets, crates, and shipping containers according to specifications and bill of materials (BOM).
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using hand and power tools such as tape measures, staple guns, nail guns, glue dispensers, pallet jacks, and forklifts is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, crouching, and kneeling throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
