BAND SAW OPERATOR

Pay: $18.00/hour
Night Shift: 5:30 PM–2:00 AM

We are seeking an experienced Band Saw Operator to operate band saws and other machinery in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate band saws and secondary machinery to accurately process materials.
• Follow verbal and written production instructions.
• Safely handle and move materials throughout the shop.
• Operate an overhead crane when needed; previous crane experience is preferred.
• Cross-train and learn to operate additional machines.
• Inspect work and maintain required quality and production standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous band saw, machine operator, fabrication, or machine shop experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Able to perform semi-heavy and bulky manual labor.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable with strong attendance.
• Willing to work overtime or additional hours when required.

Must be available to work the full 5:30 PM–2:00 AM night shift.
