Restoration & Construction Technician

Pay: Approximately $18.00/hour, based on experience and negotiable
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Employees report to the warehouse in Ashland and travel to job sites with the crew
Weekend Work: Occasional weekend availability may be needed

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Restoration & Construction Technician to join a local restoration team. This position works on residential and commercial properties following fire, water, mold, and other types of property damage.

This is a hands-on construction position. Previous construction experience is required. Candidates should be comfortable working in active job-site environments and performing a variety of demolition, cleanup, repair, and restoration duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fire, water, mold, and property-damage restoration projects

• Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials

• Assist with drywall, flooring, framing, trim, and other general construction and repair work

• Help prepare job sites for restoration and reconstruction

• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment

• Safely operate hand tools and power tools

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Follow job-site safety procedures and crew-leader instructions

• Work efficiently as part of a restoration and construction crew

Requirements

• Previous construction experience is required

• Must be dependable and report to work consistently and on time

• Must have appropriate work boots and job-site clothing

• Having your own basic construction tools is strongly preferred

• Must be comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the day

• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and work in a variety of environments

• Must be willing to work around properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other damage

• Must be able to work well with a crew and follow direction

• Occasional weekend availability may be required

Workday

Employees will report to the Ashland warehouse at 7:30 AM and ride with the crew to the day's job sites. Because crews may remain in the field throughout the day, employees should pack and bring their own lunch each day.

The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
