Skilled CNC Mill Machinist

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for experienced CNC Mill Machinists with strong vertical and/or horizontal milling experience. The ideal candidate will be able to set up their own machines, read blueprints, make adjustments, and perform quality checks throughout the machining process.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Select appropriate tooling for each job
  • Load and read CNC programs, including G-code or conversational programming
  • Make minor program changes and machine adjustments as needed

Work Location: In person

  • Perform independent machine setups
  • Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality
  • Perform in-process quality control inspections
  • Measure finished parts using precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Mill Machinist
  • Experience with both vertical and horizontal mills is preferred
  • Ability to perform your own machine setups
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Ability to choose and set up appropriate tooling
  • Ability to read CNC programs and make minor changes
  • Basic CNC programming experience is helpful
  • Ability to perform in-process quality checks
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
