Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Service Porter for a busy service and repair facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and has an interest in the automotive or truck industry.

In this role, you’ll help keep the service shop running smoothly while making sure customer vehicles are clean, maintained, and ready when repairs are complete.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the service shop, work areas, and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Clean and prepare customer vehicles for pickup
• Maintain and keep company vehicles clean and ready for use
• Assist with moving vehicles around the facility as needed
• Help with basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist the Parts and Service Departments with day-to-day tasks
• Help maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers and team members
• Follow directions from the service team and assist wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class A or B CDL required
• Clean driving record that meets company requirements
• Mechanical aptitude or previous automotive/truck experience is a plus
• Comfortable working around large trucks and service equipment
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to be hands-on
• Friendly and professional when interacting with customers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
