Senior Accountant 

Full-time | Springfield, IL | Up to $85,000, based on experience

A growing, established manufacturer is adding a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than close the books. You'd work alongside operations and leadership, turn the numbers into insight, and help support an employee-ownership culture.

What You'll Do

• Prepare journal entries and monthly financial reports
• Review results and dig into operational analysis
• Handle government reporting and compliance
• Support the employee ownership plan and company insurance programs
• Help with annual audits and tax preparation
• Partner with operations and leadership on what the numbers mean

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid grasp of GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
• Analytical thinking, organization, and good communication
