Facilities Technician - Part-Time and Full-Time

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $16.00 / hr

We are hiring a dependable Part-Time Facilities Technician to help keep a local facility clean, organized, and operating smoothly. This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys staying active throughout the day.

Job Summary

• Perform daily cleaning and general facilities responsibilities
• Clean and maintain assigned work areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment
• Track and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies
• Properly clean, inspect, and check the operation of janitorial equipment
• Follow applicable safety and environmental regulations
• Communicate job status and any concerns to the supervisor daily
• Learn facility layout, cleaning procedures, and proper use of related equipment through on-the-job training
• Assist with other cleaning and facilities duties as needed

Experience Required

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn proper cleaning procedures and equipment operation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to see, speak, hear, write, and understand English
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Ability to routinely lift approximately 30 lbs. without assistance
• Comfortable performing moderate physical activity
• Dependable and organized with good time-management skills

Pay: $16.00/hr

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, (Part-time up to 29 hours per week)
