Forklift Operator

Located in Worthington, IN

Salary: $22.00 / hr

Looking for a steady warehouse opportunity with competitive pay? We are hiring Forklift Operators to help safely move, stage, and load products in a busy warehouse environment. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes safety seriously, and is comfortable operating a forklift as part of a team.

Job Summary

• Operate a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, and move products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse
• Perform warehouse activities including picking, pooling, staging, receiving, and loading/unloading carrier trailers
• Assist with product movement and other warehouse duties as needed
• Work closely with the Shipping and Scheduling Team while following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist dock personnel with handling bags while picking customer orders
• Use PCs, scanners, and other technology to complete job duties as needed
• Follow required PPE, pedestrian walkway, and material-handling procedures
• Assist with warehouse cleaning and 5S activities
• Follow all applicable regulatory, safety, and quality requirements

Experience Required

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
• Forklift certification may be required
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established procedures

• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Dependable and reliable attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to safely lift and move bags and materials as required
• Willingness to follow PPE and pedestrian safety requirements
• Basic computer and scanner skills preferred

Pay: $22.00/hr

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
