Landscaping Technician

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $22.00 / hr

We are seeking an experienced Landscaping Technician to join a local team in Bloomington, IN. This position is ideal for someone who has managed a regular route of landscaping clients and can independently assess a property, determine what needs to be completed, and take care of the work without needing step-by-step direction.

Job Summary

• Complete seasonal and routine landscaping maintenance at assigned properties
• Mow and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform mulching, landscaping, and hardscaping tasks
• Weed eat and trim hedges and trees
• Blow leaves and clear debris from properties
• Push wheelbarrows and assist with other physically demanding outdoor tasks
• Inspect each property and identify additional maintenance needs
• Complete assigned work independently and efficiently
• Document tasks completed at each location throughout the day
• Perform other duties as needed

Experience Required

• Previous professional landscaping experience is required
• Experience managing a regular route of landscaping clients
• Experience arriving at a property, assessing the work needed, and completing tasks independently
• Ability to recognize landscaping and maintenance needs without being instructed on every task
• Previous experience with routine lawn and landscape maintenance

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of landscaping and property maintenance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to accurately document work completed at each location
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing wheelbarrows and lifting materials
• Dependable, self-motivated, and responsible
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when working at client properties

Location: Bloomington, IN

Pay: $22.00/hr

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
