Landscaping and Hardscaping Laborer

Salary: $18.00 / hr

We are seeking an experienced Landscaping & Hardscaping Laborer to join a local team in Bloomington, IN. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on landscaping and hardscaping experience who can work independently, follow direction, and confidently complete tasks with minimal training. The right candidate will be comfortable working outdoors and operating a variety of landscaping and construction equipment.

Job Summary

• Perform seasonal and regular landscaping and hardscaping tasks
• Mow and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform mulching, trimming, and general landscaping maintenance
• Operate weed eaters, trimmers, mowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Trim hedges and trees
• Push wheelbarrows and perform other physically demanding outdoor work
• Blow and clear leaves and other debris
• Assist with hardscaping projects and general outdoor construction tasks
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, Bobcats, and backhoes as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Required

• At least 1 year of previous landscaping and hardscaping experience
• Hands-on experience completing landscaping tasks with limited training
• Previous experience operating landscaping or construction equipment
• Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, Bobcats, or backhoes preferred

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to follow direction and complete tasks independently
• Strong knowledge of landscaping and hardscaping practices
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate mowers, trimmers, weed eaters, and other landscaping tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including pushing wheelbarrows and lifting materials
• Dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
• Able to work effectively as part of a team

Location: Bloomington, IN

Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
