Job Overview

We are seeking Warehouse Workers in Oriskany. This role involves performing various warehouse operations such as pick/pack, order fulfillment, and shipping. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. HOURS ARE MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8am-4:30pm.

Duties

• Operate pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, recording, and updating using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Conduct manual handling of materials, including heavy lifting and mechanical operations, adhering strictly to safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately during all tasks to ensure personal safety and compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve inventory accuracy, and implement best practices for materials handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar platforms.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or management is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock stocking procedures.
• Effective communication skills suitable for working within diverse teams across manufacturing or construction environments.
