Class A CDL Driver $30

Located in Brockton, MA

Busy distribution company in Brockton is looking to hire a reliable CDL-A Driver on a temp to perm basis!
Shift is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay is $30/hour.
This is a full-time driving position making local deliveries throughout the New England area.
This position will primarily involve driving a 26' box truck, with occasional tractor-trailer driving using our 48' and 54' trailers. 

Primary Responsibilities
•    Make local deliveries throughout the New England area.
•    Safely operate a 26' box truck for the majority of deliveries.
•    Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment as needed.
•    Load and unload deliveries.
•    Ensure materials are properly secured for transport.
•    Follow all company and DOT safety requirements.
•    Provide occasional warehouse coverage as needed, including picking and preparing orders for delivery, packaging orders and assisting with loading trucks.
•    Operate forklift, order picker and pallet jack equipment as needed.
•    Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
•    Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.
Qualifications
•    Valid Class A CDL required.
•    Minimum 3 years professional commercial driving experience required.
•    Experience operating tractor-trailers and 26' box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
•    Acceptable driving record.
•    Ability to successfully complete a company-required DOT physical.
•    Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial driving practices.
•    Warehouse experience helpful but not required.
•    Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and order picker helpful.
•    Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment.
