Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Electronics Manufacturing

Milford, CT | $20/hour | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support an established electronics manufacturing company specializing in SMT and PCB technologies.

This is a 6–9 month temporary assignment covering a leave, with the possibility of extending longer. This is a great opportunity for someone with shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or data entry experience who is comfortable working on a computer and enjoys a combination of warehouse and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Enter incoming parts and materials into the computer system
• Process outgoing shipments
• Prepare and maintain invoices, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Assist with packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Organize incoming and outgoing materials
• Perform light lifting of boxes and packages
• Provide occasional telephone coverage
• Assist with other shipping, receiving, warehouse, and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience preferred
• Good computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with shipping paperwork, invoices, and packing slips
• Able to work independently and stay organized
• Reliable and able to commit to the duration of the assignment
• Experience in an electronics, SMT, PCB, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Milford, CT
Assignment: Approximately 6–9 months, with the possibility of continuing longer

PAY & BENEFITS
Express Employment Professionals associates are paid hourly unless otherwise noted. Associates accrue paid sick leave in accordance with Connecticut law.
