Production Welder/Fabricator

Somersworth

First shift 7:00-4:00pm 

Monday-Friday

$25-$30hr based on experience

 

Position Summary

Looking for a production welder who has 2+ years of experience for our shop.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and other metals, using various welding processes (GMAW, SAW, FCAW,) to meet precise quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom parts
• Inspect and test welds and finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards, specifications, and quality control requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in a fabrication shop or on-site to ensure a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and identify solutions to maintain workflow and quality.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for layout, cut, and various metal shapes and sizes 
• Proven experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Driver’s License, required.
