We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Coordinator to join our client's team in Ottawa's East End. As a key member of the operations team, you'll play an important role in supporting fleet management, health and safety initiatives, inventory control, and day-to-day administrative operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Split responsibilities between office administration (80%) and warehouse support (20%)
  • Monitor and maintain PPE inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and compliance with safety requirements
  • Order and coordinate the purchase of PPE, health and safety supplies, and other operational materials
  • Track and monitor building-related maintenance needs and coordinate service requests as required
  • Support health and safety initiatives by maintaining records, documentation, and compliance materials
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate administrative and operational records
  • Track company fleet activities, maintenance schedules, inspections, and service requirements
  • Assist with loading company vehicles and preparing materials for delivery
  • Support delivery operations as required, including coordinating schedules and documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain organized records and provide administrative support to the operations team
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and workplace safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Valid G Class driver's licence with a satisfactory driving record; driver's abstract required
  • Experience operating an electric lift and other material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely and regularly
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and data entry
  • Familiarity with Google Maps and route navigation tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance administrative and hands-on warehouse responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset but is not required

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $24.04 - $26.44 per hour (annual salary: $50,000 - $55,000)
  • Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
