We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration, cooling, and HVAC-related systems
• Install, replace, and upgrade refrigeration components and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Test systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments
• Identify refrigerant leaks and perform repairs in compliance with EPA regulations
• Accurately document service work, repairs, and maintenance performed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Technician, HVAC/R Technician, or similar role
• EPA Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigeration units
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial, industrial, or food-service refrigeration equipment
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and related controls
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
