Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring Electrical Mechanics I, II, and III for an exciting opportunity in the aerospace industry. These are full-time, permanent positions available immediately.
As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a critical role in aerospace product assembly, fabrication, wire build-up, electrical routing, testing, and modifications while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. These safety-sensitive positions require strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to following established procedures.
Pay ranges by level:
- Electrical Mechanic I: $23.37 - $25.96/hr
- Electrical Mechanic II: $25.71 - $28.56/hr
- Electrical Mechanic III: $28.28 - $31.42/hr
Electrical Mechanic I
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components according to specifications and procedures.
- Build and route wiring within monuments and assemblies.
- Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform basic electrical assembly work while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain accountability and proper care of tools and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow written work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read process specifications and documents such as D6-54446.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
Electrical Mechanic II
Responsibilities
In addition to Electrical Mechanic I duties:
- Perform higher-complexity electrical assembly and wiring tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, retrofit requirements, and process specifications.
- Perform work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mentor and assist entry-level employees.
- Complete job orders and associated documentation.
- Create, print, and apply wire labels.
- Perform complex connector terminations, including shielded wires and coaxial cables.
- Route and terminate wiring through panels, monuments, and furniture assemblies.
- Test circuit continuity and electrical compatibility using testing instruments.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide daily status updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Preferred 3-5 years of aerospace electrical manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Boeing and Airbus wiring specifications.
- FAA A&P Certificate preferred but not required.
- Proficiency using Syteline or a similar ERP system.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
Electrical Mechanic III
Responsibilities
In addition to Electrical Mechanic II duties:
- Perform advanced electrical modification and repair work.
- Execute complex wiring installations with minimal guidance.
- Lead and support less experienced team members.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Utilize soldering equipment for wire and connector assembly.
- Work with complex assemblies including barrier door bracket installations.
- Develop solutions by leveraging team knowledge and technical expertise.
- Ensure compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards.
- Provide daily work status updates and technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Preferred 7+ years of aerospace electrical manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Boeing and Airbus wiring specifications.
- FAA A&P Certificate preferred but not required.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Syteline ERP.
Required Skills & Abilities (All Levels)
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and written procedures.
- Experience using hand tools including crimpers, wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Ability to test electrical continuity and perform wiring installations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
