Parts Sales / Counter Sales Representative

Pay: $17-$20/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales / Counter Sales Representative to join a busy automotive parts operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working with automotive parts in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and orders
• Identify and locate automotive parts using inventory systems and customer-provided information
• Provide pricing, quotes, and product recommendations
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with inventory and yard personnel to locate and verify parts
• Maintain inventory accuracy and update part information as needed
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, repair shops, and service providers
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with vehicle components
• Ability to learn inventory management software and parts lookup systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
• Previous sales, automotive, parts, or customer service experience is preferred but not required

Top 3 Responsibilities

1. Assist customers with parts identification and sales
2. Maintain accurate inventory and order information
3. Provide outstanding customer service while supporting daily operations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse/yard environments
