Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring for a Packager/Backup Forklift Operator for a leading manufacturing company in Everett, WA. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to build a long-term career with a company that values growth and development.
Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: Rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, (rotates every 8 weeks)
Pay: $22 per hour
About the Role
This full-time position is ideal for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and looking for a company where they can grow. Candidates must have excellent attendance and be able to work a rotating schedule. Candidates must have steel-toed shoes before starting and submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Key Responsibilities
- Package finished PVC extrusion products for storage and shipment.
- Inspect products for defects, damage, and dimensional accuracy prior to packaging.
- Bundle, wrap, label, and palletize finished materials for inventory and distribution.
- Maintain accurate production counts, packaging records, and inventory documentation.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, pallets, and packaging supplies throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while following company and OSHA safety standards.
- Supply extrusion lines with raw materials and remove completed products from production areas.
Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience (Must be recent and at least 2 years of experience)
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Comfortable using basic computer systems
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Must be able to fully extend arms overhead to stack and organize products
- Ability to work a rotating schedule
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
