Express Employment Professionals of Everett is seeking a Heavy Forklift Operator for an industrial company in Arlington. This is a fulltime, permanent position.
Position: Heavy Forklift Operator
Responsibilities:
• Material Handling: Move materials throughout the yard and facility, ensuring products are placed in the correct locations for processing and shipping.
• Loading and Unloading: Operate a forklift to safely load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct routine maintenance checks and safety inspections on forklifts to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Organization: Maintain an organized yard and storage area, keeping workspaces clean, efficient, and free of hazards.
• Assisting with Production: Support production teams by transporting materials and supplies as needed to maintain workflow and productivity.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of recent experience operating heavy forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and emphasis on safety
- Excellent longevity with previous employers
- Ability to work well with others
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physically demanding activities, including lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing, balancing, walking, and stooping.
Work Conditions:
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in a manufacturing environment under supervision for extended shifts.
Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $25 - $27 DOE
