Express Employment Professionals Woodbury, MN is now hiring a Light Equipment Operator for a well established printing company in the East Metro!

Schedule & Pay:

• Rotating 12's schedule after training: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 36 Hours one week, 48 hours the following week.  Includes every other weekend.
• Starting Pay: $18.66/hr.
• Pay increase upon hire – show your skills and get rewarded! Substantial increase upon hire!
• Full-time, long-term opportunity with room to grow! 
• Training hours are 6:00am-2:00pm Mon-Friday for about a month.  You will then move to your Rotating 12 hour day shift group.

 

What You’ll Do:

Join a supportive team environment where you’ll operate and maintain light production machinery to ensure high-quality printing and packaging products. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating finishing/binding/packaging equipment
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assisting in training new teammates and coordinating workflows
• Learning new areas and cross-training to build your skillset

Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable with light mechanical work and machine operation
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Willing to learn, cross-train, and adapt to production needs
• Strong attendance and good communication skills
• Computer literate with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using rulers, measurements, and basic math for precise adjustments.
• Basic understanding of presswork procedures and materials (on-the-job training provided).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
