Customer Service Representative
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
 
Summary:
Our client in Crystal Lake is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position serves as a key communication link between customers and internal departments, supporting order processing, customer inquiries, and administrative functions in a fast-paced office environment. This role offers excellent long-term stability and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, documentation requests, and order-related communication.
  • Enter and process sales orders in Sage, maintain order files, and distribute paperwork to internal teams.
  • Coordinate with sales, project management, purchasing, and production to ensure smooth order flow and customer satisfaction.
  • Upload, download, and manage documents through customer and vendor portals while assisting with reporting and data entry.
  • Provide backup support for purchasing, reception, marketing assistance, and general office administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
