An established oil and gas company in Bridgeport, WV is hiring an experienced Machinist to join their manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist with at least one year of hands-on machining experience who is comfortable with machine operations, part setup, and precision measuring tools.
Operate machining equipment to manufacture precision parts for the oil and gas industry
Set up and position parts for machining operations
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed
Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
Read and follow work instructions, specifications, and production requirements
Maintain quality and production standards throughout the machining process
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
At least 1 year of machinist or machining experience
Familiarity with general machining operations
Experience setting up parts for machining
Comfortable using precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate parts
Ability to work a 12-hour night shift
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour, based on experience
Position may eventually transition to day shift based on workload and business needs
