Computer Tester

Job Summary:
Test computers and electronic devices using automated testing equipment to verify proper operation and identify failed units. This is a hands-on, production-based position requiring accuracy, attention to detail and comfort working with computers throughout the day.

Job Duties:

• Connect computers/electronic devices to automated testing equipment
• Run established testing procedures and review pass/fail results
• Identify and document failed devices
• Route failed units to Repair Technicians
• Accurately enter and track testing information
• Clean, handle and prepare electronic devices as needed
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations

Experience Required:

• Previous hands-on experience with computers, laptops, electronics or electronic devices
• Comfortable connecting and working with computer hardware and peripherals
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter/record information accurately
• Experience with computer testing, IT support, electronics, computer repair, refurbishment or technical production strongly preferred
• Must be able to follow repetitive step-by-step processes while maintaining accuracy

Important: This is not a PC Repair Technician position. Advanced computer repair experience is not required; we're looking for someone technically inclined who can learn the testing process quickly and perform it accurately and consistently.
