Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our welding and fabrication team. This is a hands-on position working in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic hand and power tools, and willing to assist welders and fabricators with daily production needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders and fabricators with production and shop duties.
• Move, stage, and organize metal materials and finished products.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, deburring, and general material preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Follow work instructions and production procedures.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other general labor and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, welding shop, construction, fabrication, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure is preferred.
• Must be dependable and able to work well with a team.
• Willingness to learn welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
