Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping Associate to join our welding and fabrication team. This position is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment, verifying orders, loading materials, maintaining accurate shipping documentation, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare finished metal products and fabricated materials for shipment.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy.
• Package, wrap, label, and stage orders for delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move and organize materials throughout the shipping and production areas.
• Inspect outgoing products for damage or shipping discrepancies.
• Complete shipping paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with production and warehouse teams regarding completed orders.
• Operate material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other shipping, warehouse, and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, welding/fabrication, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Basic computer and paperwork skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
